GRANITE SAND

Contents: Granite rock that is ground into sand. Has ¼ inch minimum size granite.

Uses: We primarily use granite in our soil. Granite has 13 different micro-nutrients that will be absorbed by your plants. It is great for drainage too. Use in vegetable beds, flower beds, and around trees and shrubs. Just roto-till lightly into existing soil. Granite is also used as a base for laying brick or rock.

RIVER SAND

Contents: Screened river sand.

Uses: Main use is for leveling lawns, i.e. Bermuda, Zoyzia, and Centipede. Not Fescue. Also see our Sod Dressing (Soils) for leveling lawns. Sand is also used in our Rose mix. Sand should be applied in spring after grass has greened up and has been cut two times. Scalp, rake, and fertilize yard. Apply sand and level. Grass should emerge within a week.
